“Flow” comes from psychology professor Csíkszentmihályi.

According to Csíkszentmihályi’s interview in Wired magazine, “flow” is defined as, “being completely involved in an activity for its own sake.  The ego falls away.  Time flies.  Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one, like playing jazz.  Your whole being is involved, and you’re using your skills to the utmost.”

Essentially, we aim to achieve a level of flow within our own lives where our skills and tasks align to create for us the best use of the finite time we have in this life.  We hope to get to the end and be able to say that we wouldn’t have changed any of it.  That obviously doesn’t mean that we’re delirious and aim to never make mistakes.  We just want to live our lives fully and healthfully.  We hope to learn from our mistakes and become better people because of them.

And we aim to help others be able to achieve that as well.  Life is limiting for those with heart problems, diabetes, cancer, end-stage renal disease, etc.  We believe that these diseases are highly preventable and sometimes even reversible.  We aim to do what we can for the health of our clients in order that they may be able to jump head-first into whatever creates their own flow without their body holding them back.  Rather than allowing the body to be a hindrance, we aim to make it a source of empowerment.  The photographer can now climb the mountain he wants to get his awe-inspiring pictures from.  The grandfather can now play with his grandchildren.  The former Type II diabetic can leave his insulin at home.  Forever.

This is just a taste of the empowerment we hope to arm our clients with and that we aim to educate the public towards.  America’s current state of health is not what is intended for the fullness of humanity.  We all have the potential to have a strong, healthy body.  We want to show you the way.
